Bits of Bliss: Peanut Butter Greek Yogurt Dip

image

If you are anything like my family, peanut butter just isn’t a household staple, it’s a food addiction. So when I found this recipe on Pinterest, it was a no brainer that we had to test it out.

I deviated from the original recipe a little, and made my own version with a few ingredients that I had on hand. Now we are in peanut butter heaven, and I just had to share! It was SO easy to make, and it’s such a nice afternoon (or after school) sweet treat to hold you over before dinner.

(Plus there is the added bonus that it is a “gentle on the waistline” snack!)

 Peanut Butter Greek Yogurt Dip

Ingredients:

  • Appx. 8 Tbl Vanilla Greek Yogurt
  • 1 Tbl creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 apple cored and sliced, for serving

Directions:

Mix first 3 ingredients together until creamy and smooth. Serve with sliced apples and dip away. Enjoy!

Not only did my 3 year old devour his own little bowl, he even snuck in and accosted my bowl as well! It was very satisfying watching him swirl and munch on his apple slices so contently that I didn’t even mind sharing!

If you try it out, let me know what you think! Do you have any delicious afternoon snacks or sweet treats that you love? I’d love to hear all about it!
